● How to purchase
If you find the shakuhachi you would like to purchase, please contact us by email first. We will work to answer any of your questions and give you further details about the instrument. In addition, should you wish for more time to consider a purchase we will place your instrument on hold for up to a week.

● Special considerations
・Shakuhachi are manufactured using urushi, a Japanese lacquer, which is allergenic. Your product will arrive completely dry, but please be careful if you have allergies. Allergic reactions may occur over time depending on your physical condition. Please remain cautious of reactions when you or others are playing the shakuhachi. Always keep your Shakuhachi away from pets.
・The Shakuhachi is a musical instrument that is extremely sensitive to humidity and changes in temperature. Please review all Care instructions and remember to handle it with care.
・Cracks may occur, especially in areas with low humidity (below 45%). It is recommended to use a humidifier to maintain ideal conditions. 

● About product photos and sound samples
Color and tone of the product when viewed on our site may slightly differ from the actual product. Also, please note that sound samples on our site may slightly differ from the actual product as well.

● About the product price
・All prices are listed in Japanese Yen. We ask that you convert to Japanese Yen for payment.
・Currently valid payment method is Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and PayPal. 
・Refunds due to cancellation will be in Japanese Yen.

● About customs clearance
• For International orders, please be aware of your country’s import laws concerning duties and taxes. VAT or customs fees may be charged once the shipment reaches its destination country and must be paid by the recipient of the shipment.
• If the customer refuses to receive the item at the time of customs clearance, or if the item is returned due to unforeseen reasons, the order will be canceled after the item has been returned to us in an unopened and unused state. Once deemed, we will charge the prescribed fee.

● Other precautions
We are not responsible for the following:
• Return of products due to delays, non-delivery, unknown destinations, incorrect delivery address registration, etc. caused by wars, civil wars, natural disasters, etc.
• Product damage due to customer negligence.
• Issues caused by undelivered or unread e-mail due to system error or garbled characters.

● How to resolve issues
If an issue occurs between the customer and our store which cannot be resolved, we will apply Japanese law to make a decision. This decision is final and binding on both parties.
